The Ultimate Girevik Cup 2015, Stage 2, Indian leg held on 22nd August at the Bengal Rowing Club, witnessed a new chapter in kettlebell sport being written in India. This was the first time that kettlebell lifters in India lifted non stop for 30 minutes without putting the bell down. Despite the challenging format, each and every participant went the entire distance and lifted for the full 30 minutes non stop. And yes, this also happened to be India's first ever International kettlebell competition!
Along with the International competition, which is run by the International Kettlebell Marathon Federation, Fitter Strength also conducted the Indian half marathon championship and rewarded medals to the best lifters of the day for each event separately in men and women's categories.
